The site is a little piece of land surrounded by bamboo(bash) grove . The client wanted a little adobe amidst greenary to get away from the bustling city life and relax with their family. The three brothers needed common space to gather with their extended family yet wanted their separate corners in the house .This was the basis for dividing the area into three parts while designing. The building has lawn on north and West site creating buffer from roads .With waterbody near main entry and a secluded outdoor family dining on the back . It has a composite structure with RCC columns and steel beams. Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) block was chosen instead traditional burnt brick both to reduce emission and to make the structure lighter . It also helped to reduce the cost of foundation work . For the same reason Sandwitch panel was selected as roofing material instead of RCC roof . Double bubble insulation with rock wool is being used under roof to keep the interior cool and comfortable.
